Cookie Policy
Every cookie and item of browser storage the Cipher30 site uses, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how to change your choice.

The short version
- No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and nothing that follows you across other sites.
- Strictly necessary cookies keep you signed in and protect sign-in. They cannot be switched off.
- Two optional extras stay off until you allow them: video playback analytics from Mux, and the TradingView chart on the member market page.
- The member tools save your settings and progress in your browser, not on our servers.
- You can change your choice at any time on this page.
Your choice
On your first visit a banner asks what you allow. Accept all and Reject non-essential are equally easy to choose. Manage choices shows each category. Until you choose, nothing optional loads. Pressing Escape never counts as accepting.
Your choice is saved in this browser only, for 12 months. Change it or withdraw it at any time below. A change takes effect straight away and does not affect anything that happened before it.
Browser storage
The site also uses your browser’s local storage. Unlike cookies, local storage is not sent to our servers. The member tools keep your settings and progress there, on your device, and we do not receive a copy. These items are part of features you choose to use, so they are not optional cookies.
c30-consentLocal storage · strictly necessary- Your cookie choice: whether optional content is allowed, and when you chose.Lasts: 12 months. After that the banner asks again.
cipher30_tos_agreedLocal storage · strictly necessary- The account ID for which the member terms were last accepted on this browser, so the terms prompt does not reappear after you have agreed.Lasts: Until you clear your browser's site data.

Optional: analytics and embedded content
These stay off until you choose Accept all, or switch on Analytics and embedded content under Manage choices.
muxDataCookie · first-party · set by Mux Player- Our video host, Mux, measures playback quality (start-up time, buffering, errors) through Mux Data. The cookie holds a random viewer ID and a playback session ID, and playback data is sent to Mux. If you have not allowed optional content, the player runs with Mux Data switched off and sets no cookie. Videos play either way.Lasts: 1 year. The playback session inside it rolls over after 25 minutes of inactivity.
- TradingView chartThird-party embed · member market page
- The market page loads TradingView’s chart script and frame from TradingView’s servers. TradingView receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies or storage, under its own privacy policy. We do not control those. If you have not allowed optional content, the page shows a button to load the chart for that visit instead.Lasts: Set by TradingView.
Other third-party requests
Some pages load content from other companies’ servers. Any server you load content from receives your IP address and basic browser details. These requests are not used for tracking by us:
- Mux streams the course videos and their thumbnails. This is how the course is delivered, so it is not optional. Playback analytics are separate and covered above.
- Discord: the home page asks Discord’s public API for our community’s member count. Your browser sends no cookies with that request and stores none from it. Pages may also open a connection to discord.com in advance, so the count loads faster.
- Google: if you choose Continue with Google, you go to Google’s sign-in page, where Google’s own cookies and privacy policy apply.
Fonts are bundled with the site, so no request goes to Google Fonts. Images from our content system are served through our own domain.
What we do not use
No advertising or retargeting cookies, no social media tracking pixels, no site-wide analytics such as Google Analytics, and no cookies that follow you across other sites.
If that changes, we will update this policy first, and anything optional will stay off until you allow it.
Controlling cookies in your browser
You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser’s settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in.
Clearing site data also deletes what the member tools saved on that device, such as your checklist history, Prop Tracker figures, Mind Arena progress and video resume points. We cannot restore it, because we never had a copy. Your cookie choice is cleared too, so the banner will ask again.
Changes and contact
We update this page when the cookies or storage we use change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we add a new optional category, we will ask you before it runs.
Questions about this policy: email us or message us on Discord (opens in a new tab). The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information under POPIA and how to reach our Information Officer.
